Ah the Engineer in the family Abdl Hafas Abdl Bast (2003)
Many ways the site demands care and teamwork. The reeds in 2001 enjoy the rising groundwater in wet areas at Temple-Town Hierakonpolis until 2006 when the salt was too much and the plants became yellow and were dead. Osama the tall with Hafas cut the reeds to permit pump tests, 2001.
Pump tests in 2000-2003 employ the strong and creative.
Why not eliminate the plants? Herbicide – a poison – please no. It would damage the environment and hurt the living. The land without vegetation would erode also reducing the ancient site. Healthy plants and circulating groundwater are a better goal.
